The Guinness World Records announced on Tuesday, Dec. 12, that American pop star Taylor Swift broke records after ‘Eras Tour’ was hailed as the highest-grossing music tour, surpassing $1 billion in revenue.

Swift broke Elton John’s five-year farewell tour record which had $939 in revenue after it ended earlier this year.
According to the Guinness World Records, every concert had approximately 72,000 people with tickets being purchased at an average of $238, the tour would rack up around $17 million every show.
A Pollstar survey revealed that 4.3 million tickets have been purchased as of posting, accumulating an estimated $2 billion if all the shows are played.
Swift earlier released “The Eras Tour” concert film in the Philippines which contained her show with a set list of 44 songs, reaching 3.5 hours long.
