According to the state weather bureau, the combined effects of the shear line and LPA will bring cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga, and Quezon provinces.
"Floods and landslides are possible in low-lying and in mountainous areas due to prolonged rains," it said.
Cloudy skies with light rains will prevail over Cagayan Valley and Aurora, while partly cloudy to cloudy with Amihan-induced isolated rains will be experienced in Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and Metro Manila.
"The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening," PAGASA said.
Residents situated in Northern Luzon are advised to expect moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.
"While light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds will affect the rest of the country with slight to moderate sea," the state weather bureau added.
