Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi is ready to conquer the universe as she departed to the United States on Friday, Dec. 16 for her "final leg of training" for the much-awaited 71st Miss Universe pageant in January.
In a photo shared on social media, the Miss Universe Philippines organization shared a photo of Celeste posing at the airport while donning a comfortable white sweater and pants set paired with a white sneakers as her send off outfit.
"Safe travels, queen! Take a look as Miss Universe Philippines 2022 @celeste_cortesi embarks on her journey to the US for the final leg of her training for the 71st Miss Universe competition," the organization wrote.
Prior to this, the organization held a send-off party for Celeste on December 15.
As of writing, Celeste has already landed in the US, according to the post of the organization.
Cortesi, 25, a Filipino-Italian model, was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines last April.
She will be competing in the 71st Miss Universe pageant scheduled on Jan. 14 next year in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
