BLACKPINK is making history as the first K-pop act to headline the star-studded lineup of the Coachella Festival slated in April this year.

On Tuesday, the US-based music festival announced that BLACKPINK, Bad Bunny, and Frank Ocean will be headlining the "Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival."

Coachella will take place over two three-day weekends, from April 14-16 and 21-23.

BLACKPINK debuted on the Coachella stage back in 2019 and was the first K-pop group to ever do so. They will be performing for two nights on April 15 and 22.

The group — composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa — now joins Björk, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish as female headliners at one of the biggest music festivals in the United States.

As of writing, the hashtag #BLACKPINKXCoachella is currently the top trending topic on Twitter Philippines, with BLINKs expressing their excitement about the group's lineup and performance.

BLACKPINK is currently embarking their Asia tour for "Born Pink" and is set to perform in the country on March 25 and 26 at the Philippine Arena.
