Calling all emo kids and rock fans, three of the most popular rock bands in the early 2000s are returning to the Philippines in May 2025 for an epic one-night music festival!
The Playback Punk Rock and Emo Music Festival will happen on May 8, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. For the music fest, fans can sing (or scream) at the top of their lungs to Secondhand Serenade, The Click Five, and Boys Like Girls for the ultimate playback to the iconic soundtracks of the early 2000s youth.
Ticket categories:
- Platinum (Reserved seats) - PHP 10,000
- Platinum Moshpit - PHP 9,000
- Gold - PHP 7,950
- Silver - PHP 4,500
Fans can secure their tickets on December 21 at 11 AM via Ticketmelon.
The ultimate punk rock experience does not end with great performances lined up, as it also extends to festival activities like food booths, pop-up bars, photo booths, festival merch, and official artist merch.
In a separate post, Playback Music Festival also addressed why the upcoming event is a different setup compared to usual concerts.
“Hey Guys! We know this is different from the usual concerts but we’re out to make a good festival show,” they said in a tweet.
“As much as we want to consider other venues, it doesn’t align with available schedules. We have a lot of great things in store for you and hope to still see you on May 8!” they added.
