Great news for museum goers: you can now visit the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) on any day of the week!
Just in time for New Year's Day, the museum announced on Tuesday through its Facebook page that the NMP Central Complex and its regional component museums will be open daily, starting 2025. This includes the National Museum of FIne Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Natural History among others that will be open to guided and self-paced tours, and walk-in visitors.
“The past year has been remarkable for us at the National Museum of the Philippines,” the NMP captioned its post.
To start 2025 with a bang, as the museum said, they will be opening the said museums all over the country, for seven days a week, with free admissions.
“Universal access has always been our priority. By opening our museums every day and maintaining free admission, we aim to make our programs and services even more accessible to everybody,” they said.
The NMP houses preserved works of art, and cultural and historical artifacts that reflect the country's unique heritage and natural history.
It will now be open from Mondays to Sundays, from 9 AM to 6PM.
