Director James Gunn's hotly anticipated release for the new 'Superman' film finally released its first teaser trailer on Saturday.
In the trailer, the Man of Steel is seen in the new DC Universe, fighting trouble with a bit of help from a little creature. The beloved creature was first seen after Superman crashes into the snow. From a distance, the little fan favorite, Krypto (also known as Superdog) appears.
Besides the pair, the Daily Planet star reporter Lois Lane and the super villain Lex Luthor appears in the film.
The new DC Universe will be replacing the DC Extended Universe.
In an X post, Gunn shared that the trailer had over 250 million views. According to the director, Superman is now the most viewed and most talked about trailer in the history of Warner Bros and DC.

Superman will be premiering in theaters and IMAX starting July 11, 2025.
