There's no turning back because Aliwan Fiesta, the festival of all festivals is officially on!

A riot of rhythm and color will cover the metro as the grandest fiesta makes its return to the CCP Complex in Pasay this coming June 27 to 29.

Here are the schedule of the grandest three-day event:

  • June 27 - Tugtog ng Aliwan (5 p.m.)
    Pasakalye Concert (7 p.m. )
  • June 28 - Reyna ng Aliwan pageant
  • June 29 - Grand Parade (5 p.m.)

STREET DANCE AND FLOAT COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS

Aliwan Fiesta 2024 will never be the same without the extravagant street dancers and floats from various regions in the country.

This year's competitors for street dance are the following:

  • Lakbayaw Festival from the City of Manila
  • Panagbenga Flower Festival from Baguio City
  • Bodong Festival from Rizal, Kalinga
  • Daing Festival from Sto. Tomas, La Union
  • Halamanan Festival from Guiguinto, Bulacan
  • Dinamulag Mango Festival from Iba, Zambales
  • Panagkakadua-an Festival from San Felipe, Zambales
  • Antipolo Maytime Festival from Antipolo City
  • Hamaka Festival from Taytay, Rizal
  • Niyogyugan Festival from Pagbilao, Quezon
  • Kaogma Festival from Baao, Camarines Sur
  • Cagsawa Festival from Daraga, Albay
  • Iloilo Dinagyang Festival from Iloilo City
  • Tultugan Festival from Iloilo Province
  • Sinulog Festival from Cebu City
  • Meguyaya Festival from Upi, Maguindanao del Norte

Meanwhile, participants in the artistic float competition are:

  • Bahay Pangisdaan from Muntinlupa City
  • Halamanan Festival from Guiguinto, Bulacan
  • Republica Filipina - Fiesta Republica from Malolos, Bulacan
  • Panagkakadua-an Festival from San Felipe, Zambales
  • Ilwan a Inaul sa Kutawato from Cotabato City
  • Guinakit from Cotabato City
  • Adat Betad sa Maguiranun from Mother Kabuntalan, Maguindanao del Norte
  • Lamin o Bidadari from Northern Kabuntalan, Maguindanao del Norte

Aliwan Fiesta 2024 is being led by the MBC Media Group (MMG) in partnership with the City of Pasay, the City of Manila, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

"Aliwan Fiesta has always been a celebration of the rich and diverse cultures that make up our beautiful country," said MBC Media Group (MMG) president Ruperto S. Nicdao Jr.

"We are thrilled to bring together communities from different regions of the Philippines to showcase their vibrant festivals and share them with the Filipino people," he added.
