<p>Pack your bags as there will be a long weekend next month after President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. moved&nbsp;the non-working day in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan to Monday, April 10.</p>

<p>This was announced by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) in a statement, referring to&nbsp;Marcos' Proclamation No. 90 issued in November 2022.</p>
<p>"The commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan (April 9) which is a regular holiday falls on a Sunday for the year 2023," Proclamation No. 90 read.</p>

<div>The so-called Day of the Valor is usually commemorated on Apr. 9, which falls on a Sunday this year.</div>

<p>Palace noted that April 6 and 7 will be regular holidays in observance of Holy Week, which is observed worldwide to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ. </p>
