The newly-released song of rising indie OPM band Lola Amour has been recognized by K-pop boy group Enhypen!
Fans of Enhypen had been recommending Lola Amour's "Raining in Manila" on the group's account on Weverse, a South Korean social platform curated by music label HYBE, since last week.
Enhypen member Jake saw the recommendation and took his time to listen to the song when he did a live on Weverse on Friday, July 14.
"Great song," he replied to the fan who asked about his opinion.

Sunghoon, who was watching his fellow member's live at the time, commented that "Raining in Manila" was a "good song".

Overwhelmed by the South Korean group's affirmation, Lola Amour took to Twitter to thank them for listening to their song.
"Hope it reaches you, but we want to say thank you for listening to Raining in Manila live on your Weverse! Hope to see you guys when you’re in manila! @ENHYPEN_members @ENHYPEN," the band said.
They also thanked Filo-engenes who have been recommending the song to them.

"Raining in Manila" has been trending on PH's music charts for several weeks now.
According to ChartdataPH, Lola Amour's song gained 780,000 streams on Spotify — the biggest single day stream.
Meanwhile, renowned nine-piece folk band Ben&Ben congratulated the indie band for being recognized internationally.
"We want to congratulate Lola Amour !!! We have believed in you guys and have been fans of your music, talent, energy and heart," they said in a Facebook post.
"Please keep creating great music and live performances! Celebrating with you kahit it’s raining in manilaaa (pun intended 😂," Ben&Ben added.
Ben&Ben's vocalist Migs then shared that Lola Amour's "Madali" featuring Al James was his favorite song.
Many OPM avid fans and listeners then requested a collaboration between Lola Amour and Ben&Ben.
In 2020, Ben&Ben's "Leaves" got also recognized by South Korean singer YoungK, and the song trended on South Korea's music charts.
Following this, Ben&Ben collaborated with YoungK for the reimagined version of "Leaves".
