Liza Soberano revealed that the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time "Hello, Love, Goodbye," starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, was first offered to her and on and off-screen partner Enrique Gil.
In the latest YouTube video of Bea Alonzo, the actress went on a lie detector test where she was asked if her career opportunities were limited because of LizQuen's love team.
As Liza answered, she eventually shared that they were supposed to star in the film, however, the management had other project plans for them.
"Yung ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ nina Kathryn [Bernardo] and Alden [Richards] was actually offered to [Enrique Gil] and I first. And then I wanted to do that movie so bad, but then they were like, ‘There’s another project lined up for you'," she said.
She also revealed that it was offered to Enrique with Kathryn as his leading lady, which she admitted scared her considering the reactions of their fans.
"Tapos while we were doing ‘Bagani,’ nabalitaan ko (I found out) that they offered it to Kathryn and Quen. That scared the sh*t out of me," she added,
"I was like, ‘Why did they do that?’ I asked them to save the project for me and Quen. Kasi they told us noong pitching na hindi pwedeng gawin agad kasi they have to develop it more," she added.
Liza previously went controversial due to her YouTube video about making a new career for herself under new management, Careless Manila, co-founded by James Reid.
