In their makeup session, Soberano said that she had never officially announced her decision to move to LA, as it is easier for her to build her career.
Soberano said she dreams of becoming a "world-class actress" and starting her music career at the same time.
Aside from signing under James Reid's label, Soberano also signed with Los Angeles-based music label, the Transparent Arts, owned by the hip-hop and electronic music group Far East Movement.
She told Starr that she has been taking lots of training, particularly taking vocal lessons, noting her envision of her music to be more like K-pop "but a little edgier."
Meanwhile, Soberano also shared that she wants to portray a character that is rooted in reality, like a best friend.
Her confirmed acting project so far is a rile in the horror-comedy film "Lisa Frankenstein," starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
