Liquid ECHO is back on top!
Liquid Echo has captured their second MPL Philippines title with an impressive sweep, 4-0, against Falcons AP Bren in the best-of-seven grand finals of Season 13.
Led by Season 13 Finals MVP Sanford ‘Sanford’ Vinuya, the team left no stone unturned, proving once again that they are of ‘championship caliber’.

For the new champions, this victory is especially significant. It not only adds another trophy to their collection but also proves that they are a top-tier team, capable of overcoming any challenge.
“Parang ngayong season [13] 'yung sobrang daming nagda-doubt at nangba-bash sa team namin, kaya sobrang naging mahalaga [ng pagkapanalo] namin. And specially, nakapag-qualify kami sa MSC din. Napatunayan namin sa lahat na championship-caliber team talaga kami,” Frederic ‘BennyQT’ Gonzales expressed his joy to DZRHTV.
Leading the series 3-0, Sanford delivered a game-winning performance by taking down three key players from Falcons AP Bren.
However, Falcons‘ star player, Marco ‘Super Marco’ Requitano, fought back with an impressive move—taking out four members of ECHO.
In the end, it was Alston ‘Sanji’ Pabico who sealed the victory for Liquid ECHO, dismantling AP Bren’s defenses and securing the championship.
Reflecting on the match, Super Marco acknowledged Liquid ECHO‘s superior strategy and execution.
“Parang completely nabasa nila kami. Parang overall talaga, sa lanes, pati turtles, lord, talagang lamang na lamang sila. Mas better na team sila ngayon,” he told DZRHTV.
Eyes on the International Stage
Both world champion teams will soon compete on the international stage, representing the Philippines at the Mid-Season Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia this July.

But before the competition, they had messages for their future opponents.
Super Marco delivered a simple yet powerful message, “Maghanda sila,” while Jaypee ‘Jaypee’ Cruz said, “Good luck.”
BennyQT also had a message for their fellow competitors and Falcons AP Bren, “Goodluck sa mga makakalaban namin, and sa Falcons AP Bren, galingan natin sa MSC, ipanalo ulit natin ang Pilipinas.”
