A magnitude 5.9 earthquake rocked Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday, December 5, according to PHIVOLCS.

In its recent bulletin, the state seismologist said the quake happened at 4:23 PM with its epicenter traced at Lubang town in Occidental Mindoro.

The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 79 km as per PHIVOLCS.
