South Korean actor and singer Lee Seung-Gi showcased his heavenly and powerful live vocals to Filipino Airens during his “The Dreamer’s Dream – Chapter2” Asia tour concert held at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City on Saturday, May 27.

Seung Gi opened the show by singing “The Dreamer’s Dream” from his “The Project” album, which was dropped in 2020.

After singing the soulful ballad, he greeted Filo Airens and told them how much he missed them.

"Kumusta po kayo? Sobrang namiss ko kayo!" Seung Gi said.

Proving that he is the “Ballad Prince”, the Halyu star then gave his 100 percent all in singing "Return," "Forest," and "Circle”.

In between his performances, he jokingly said that the energy of the fans made him feel that he was singing rock songs even if they were ballad songs with sad lyrics.

“I think the live bands are also affected by your cheers, their plays are also energetic,” Seung Gi added.

The 37-year-old singer drove Filo Airens to lose their minds when he performed “Losing My Mind” — the Original Sound Track (OST) of his popular 2010 Korean drama series “My Girlfriend is Gumiho”.

But he did not only sing this once, he also repeated the performance upon the request of the fans.

Seung Gi said if he only knew that Filo fans love seeing him perform rock songs, he should have prepared for more.

"The next time I visit here, I will bring more special songs for you," he said.

The Korean singer-actor also mentioned that of the cities he visited for his Asia tour, he thinks that Manila is the best.

“Please expect a lot from me. After the album is released, my dream is to have a world tour,” he said.

The Korean singer-actor also shared that he is thinking of joining Philippine variety shows in the near future as well.

As a little gift for Filo-Airens, the multitalented Seung Gi sang a never-heard-before song entitled "I got to know it that way" which he said will be part of his upcoming anniversary album.

He also sang “Forbidden Love” even though he revealed that it was not part of his setlist.

“I have this friend who actually told me that this song is very popular and maybe I can try this song,” the Halyu star said.

Before he closed the Manila leg of his “The Dreamer’s Dream – Chapter 2”, he presented a short but heartwarming video where his journey as a singer and actor was shown.

The clip also contains text that conveys gratitude to his fans who have been with him for over 19 years.
