The agency of South Korean actor Lee Jae-wook on Thursday, February 29, announced that they will be taking legal actions against people caught posting malicious posts against the actor following the news of his relationship with aespa’s Karina.

In a Soompi report, C-JeS Studios stated that despite requesting respect for Jae-wook’s private life, the barrage of offensive and slanderous posts toward the actor prompted the agency to take “strong civil and criminal action.”

“[O]ffensive posts with malicious intentions including those with false information and slander against the actor have been found online,” its statement read.

“These severely violate personality rights, and we are informing you that we will take strong civil and criminal action through a legal representative,” it added.

The agency noted their surveillance of untoward posts and urged fans to send malicious cases they see online to C-JeS Studios’ email for consideration in legal action.

Jae-wook and Karina were confirmed to be in a relationship.
