Delivery service Lalamove Philippines reminded the public that its partner vehicles are not allowed to transport people.
The reminder comes after some netizens booked with Lalamove due to the struggle in securing a ride in other transportation services amid the Christmas season rush.
In an email sent to all users on Tuesday, the carrier company said its accredited drivers are “not licensed” to transport people, only items made for delivery.
“Our Lalamove Bossings have the right to refuse since this is illegal and is not allowed on our platform,” it said.

“Let us help each other by allowing our partner drivers to focus on fulfilling your Christmas rush deliveries,” the carrier company said.
Meanwhile, Lalamove PH also issued a list containing what they cannot deliver. These include people, fish seedlings, and animals.
The carrier also said it cannot deliver prohibited items such as dangerous drugs, alcoholic drinks, firearms, sharp objects, chemicals, unsecured flammable objects, and jewelry.
Lalamove is a same-day delivery and courier service provider.
It delivers items using different types of vehicles including motorcycles, sedans, and small to large trucks.
