A lady enforcer and a cyclist sustained injuries after being hit by a motor rider who was attempting to escape from the Department of Transportation - Security and Intelligence and Communications Team (DOTr-SAICT) after using the EDSA busway lane in Ortigas.
In a report by RH Val Gonzales, the rider entered the EDSA busway at 6 a.m. in the northbound direction towards Quezon City.
Based on footage taken by the DOTr-SAICT, the authorities tried to block the motorist, but he fled. As he passed by a lady driver, he rammed into her vehicle.
The motorist's reckless driving didn’t end there, as he also hit an elderly cyclist when passing through the bike lane.
The driver was arrested and turned over to the LTOPCG Investigations and Detection Management Service Headquarters.
He is set to face multiple charges including hit and run.
