A labor group condemned another alleged case of extrajudicial killing of a labor leader after he was shot by the personnel of the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG).
In a report by RH 52 Edniel Parrosa, the labor group said that the police allegedly shot the victim, identified as Jude Thaddeus Fernandez, after allegedly entering his house in Binangonan, Rizal, to serve a search warrant.
However, in a spot report obtained by DZRH News from the Binangonan Police, Fernandez allegedly fired a gun when a warrant of arrest was served and not a search warrant.
Meanwhile, the police identified the unionist not by the name of Jude Thaddeus Fernandez but by the name of Oscar Dizon, also known as Igme, who is allegedly wanted for a murder case.
