Barangay Ginebra Captain LA Tenorio is now cancer-free.
The confirmation of LA Tenorio's health status comes from Ginebra Head Coach Tim Cone, who announced that the veteran basketball player has received positive results from a positron emission tomography (PET) scan conducted in Singapore.
Additionally, he also announced that Tenorio has been given the green light to join the Ginebra Kings' upcoming practice sessions.
Taking to his official Twitter account, the 38-year-old point guard shared a retweet of a report regarding his recovery, expressing gratitude with the words "God is good" and confirming his imminent return to the PBA court.

It's worth noting that back in March, Tenorio revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, which forced him to temporarily step away from PBA games, including those with Barangay Ginebra.
On Tuesday, Tenorio returned to the Philippines in preparation for the Asian Games, where he will be part of the coaching staff for Gilas Pilipinas.
