Kim Atienza announced with deep sadness the passing of his daughter and content creator, Emmanuelle "Emman" Atienza.
In a joint social media statement with family, Atienza confirmed Emman’s “unexpected” death. Despite this, the family remembered her as someone who brought immense joy, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.
“Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” they captioned their post.
“To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life,” they added.
The family did not disclose Emman’s cause of death.
Last year, Emman bravely opened up about her mental health journey, stating she had been dealing with therapy for mental illness since she was 12 years old.
