Rumi, Mira, and Zoey are making a comeback to show you how it’s done!
According to US media, the fan-favorite, music-driven fantasy-action film “Kpop Demon Hunters” will be back for more—a sequel is now officially in the works after Netflix and Sony sealed the deal with filmmakers.
It’s going to take a while, though, with the projected release date in 2029.
The first installment, released this August, was a huge global success. Netflix has since leveraged that hype with a media tour that had cast members and filmmakers appear at the Toronto International Film Festival, and the trio behind the HUNTR/X characters (Ejae, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna) came on “The Tonight Show” and “Saturday Night Live.”
A superb fusion of Korean pop glam and supernatural action, “Kpop Demon Hunters” follows a girl group that slays demons between performances.
