The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) is offering a P20 million reward to anyone who can provide information on those who want to exterminate and harm Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused.
According to Atty. Israelito Torreon, the KOJC lawyer, the money came from over seven million members of the religious group.
Earlier in February, the group told of information they received about a death threat awaiting the pastor. However, the Philippine National Police (PNP) countered the argument saying that there were no death threats monitored against the latter.
The fugitive pastor has been in hiding since the Davao Regional Trial Court issued an arrest warrant against him and his five co-accused. The Pasig City Court also posted non-bailable charges on them for human trafficking, and child and sexual abuse.
Among the wanted criminals are Paulene Canada—who was arrested earlier in Davao; Cresente Canada, Ingrid Canada, Jackielyn Roy, and Sylvia Cemanes who remain in hiding.
Before the religious group’s P20 million offer, a P10 million bounty was put up by anonymous donors who were dissatisfied with the operatives’ slow progress in arresting the pastor. Subsequently, a P1 million bounty was put up for each of his five accomplices.
Since then, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has received tips from several informants on Quiboloy’s whereabouts.
Quiboloy served as former President Rodrigo Duterte’s religious adviser during his term and remains at large.
