Danny "The King" Kingad is gearing up for another victory as he makes his return to the ONE Circle at ONE Fight Night 15: Tawanchai vs. Superbon on October 7 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The third-ranked flyweight contender is set to face the formidable "Wolf Warrior" Hu Yong, a challenge that could bring him closer to a shot at the ONE Flyweight World Championship.
&ldquo;I&rsquo;m excited. I know Hu Yong is a very skilled and dangerous fighter, so I&rsquo;m doing everything to prepare for him and what he plans to do,&rdquo; Kingad commented.
He understands that a victory here could propel him back into contention for the ONE Flyweight World Championship, currently held by Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson.
&ldquo;The goal is to get back into World Title contention, and I know that another win here would put me in a good position to chase for the belt," he remarked.
However, Kingad isn't undermining his Chinese opponent.
He acknowledges the threat posed by "Wolf Warrior," who is on a two-fight winning streak, including a knockout win against Team Lakay veteran and former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio.
Nonetheless, Kingad has faith in his abilities and asserts, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m confident in my skills, and I&rsquo;d love to test myself against him."
