If there's a Filipino who is qualified to serve as a judge for the recently concluded Miss Universe 2023, it would be none other than the King of Talk, Boy Abunda.

During the November 21 episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,”, he disclosed that he was initially considered to be part of the Miss Universe 2023 judges but was disqualified after doing an interview with one of the candidates, Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee.

Abunda said he understood the disqualification that was based on the rules of the Miss Universe Organization.

However, the King of Talk has no regrets about doing an interview with the actress-beauty queen and described it as “worth it,” saying that he would still vote for Dee if he were one of the judges.

Despite not making it to the final five, Abunda is still happy for Dee and hopes to have a talk with her when she gets back to the country.

On November 19, Dee competed with 83 other delegates vying for the Miss Universe title in El Salvador, and Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua was hailed as the winner.
