South Korean actor Kim Soo-Hyun will be lending his voice as part of the official soundtrack (OST) of his well-loved drama "Queen of Tears."
In a report on Thursday, News1 shared that the 36-year-old actor participated in the recording of one of the OSTs for the hit tVN drama "Queen of Tears," in which he currently stars as Baek Hyun-Woo.
The report was, later on, confirmed by tvN in a statement.
"Kim Soo Hyun and the production team put in great effort to create this song, aiming to reciprocate the love shown by fans. Please keep an eye on upcoming episodes to discover in which scenes the song will be featured," the statement read.
This marks Soo-Hyun's return as OST singer after 10 years since he last participated in the OST for his another hit drama "My Love From The Star," where he co-starred alongside actress Jun Ji-hyun.
In the past, Kim Soo Hyun sang the OST for 'The Moon Embracing the Sun,' and 'Dream High.'
"Queen of Tears" follows the marriage of Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-Hyun) and Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) as their relationship hits a boulder of crisis after a promise that he would never shed a tear.
Baek Hyun-woo is an entry-level worker for conglomerate Queens Group, having been considered the “most successful” person from his hometown village. His wife Hong Hae-In is the daughter of the family that owns the Queens Group.
“Queen of Tears” reportedly shows the struggles of the couple striving against the odds presented in their marriage.
The drama premiered last March 9.
