The prominent actress has secured a nomination in the distinguished category of Outstanding Asian Stars, where she will join the ranks of renowned actors from Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Among her competitors are South Korean artists Song Joong-ki, Lee Je-hoon, Yoon-ah, Park Eun-bin, and Song Hye-Kyo.
Figures from various international backgrounds have also received nominations, such as China's Lai Ter-Chien, Wanghedi, and Shuxin Yu; Japan's Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Kento Yamazaki; Taiwan's Vivian Sung, and Thailand's Nichkhun.
The Outstanding Asian Stars category is just one of the three invitation-based international categories featured in this prestigious awards program based in South Korea.
From June 15 to July 14, international fans have the opportunity to show their support for their favorite nominees by utilizing the voting platform service app, Idolchamp.
Scheduled for September 21, the 18th anniversary of the Seoul International Drama Awards promises to be a grand affair.
The winners, chosen through the voting process, will also receive personal invitations to attend the ceremony.
In addition to her remarkable nomination, Kathryn is also keeping busy with three upcoming film projects: A Very Good Girl, alongside Dolly de Leon, an impactful film titled Elena 1944, centered around the comfort women, and an untitled venture featuring Daniel Padilla.
