“Hello, Love, Again” has made its stars shed tears during the world premiere on Tuesday night.

Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, who play the main protagonists of the film, were captured red-faced and teary-eyed, and sharing a tight embrace after having watched the sequel to their blockbuster film “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”

Photos of “before and after” they watched the film as well as a video of them hugging each other was posted on Instagram.

“We’re excited to experience all the emotions, Ethan and Joy!” GMA Network said, and invited its viewers to flock cinemas on November 13, the film’s opening night.

Bernardo and Richards were at the premiere night held at SM Megamall Cinema 3 alongside director Cathy Garcia-Sampana and cast-mates Lovely Abella, Maymay Entrata, Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Kakai Bautista, and Jameson Blake. The cast was accompanied by GMA Network and ABS-CBN executives.

A number of other celebrities attended to show their support, namely: Barbie Forteza, Mimiyuuuh, Jak Roberto, Kyline Alcantara, Kobe Paras, Elle Villanueva, Derrick Monasterio, Michael Sager, Allan Ansay, Sofia Pablo, Betong Sumaya, Althea Ablan, Princess Aliyah, Matthew Uy, Matt Lozano, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Robi Domingo and his wife Maiqui, and Baninay Bautista.

Bernardo’s and Richard’s families were also at the event.

“Hello, Love, Again” follows Joy and Ethan’s relationship, five years after Joy left Hong Kong to pursue her dreams in Canada. It premiered at midnight of November 13, and will also be the closing film at the Los Angeles Asian World Film Festival (AWFF).
