Filipino gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo ruled the juniors vault event of the 2024 Artistic Gymnastics Championships on Sunday, May 19, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Yulo snagged his first Asian Gymnastics Championships gold medal after garnering a score of 14.433 points in the finals.

He won against Altynkhan Temirbek of Kazakhstan who tallied a score of 14.183 points, and Sarva Abulfaizov, who finished in third place with a score of 13.766 points.

The younger brother of Two-Time World Champion Gymnast Carlos Yulo struck gold after settling for a second place finish in the previous Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
