by Christhel Cuazon12 May 2021

The long wait is finally over as K-pop kings EXO finally dropped the date for their much-awaited comeback as a group.

On Tuesday, the group's social media accounts posted a teaser showing a radar along with the announcement that EXO will be releasing a new special album called “Don’t Fight the Feeling.”

SM Entertainment, the group's label, confirmed that EXO's special album will be released on June 7 and that pre-orders for the album start on May 11.

It can be recalled that back in April, EXO shared a birthday post following their 9th debut anniversary, followed by an “L-1485 spoiler” showing the six members — Xiumin, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun in what appears to be the filming site of their upcoming comeback album.

Known as the ultimate spoiler kings, EXO didn’t miss the chance to give a glimpse of their new track to fans and even played a snippet of it, with D.O. dancing to its choreography.

"Don't Fight The Feeling" will EXO's first comeback as a group since November 2019 following their sixth full-length album "Obsession."

Since then, the members have consecutively released their solos and units while others served in the military.

EXOLs around the world are up for the much-anticipated comeback as hashtags #DONT_FIGHT_THE_FEELING, #weareoneEXO, and Special Album became one of the trending topics on Twitter worldwide.
