Canadian singer Justin Bieber discouraged fans from buying H&M’s recent release featuring his name and image as it was not approved and called it ‘trash’.
The singer took on Instagram stories last Dec 19 saying, “I didn't approve any of the merch collection that they put up at H&M… all without my permission and approval," the singer wrote."SMH (shaking my head) I wouldn't buy it if I were you."

He then added another story with, “The H&M merch they made of me is trash and I didn’t approve it, don’t buy it.”

Meanwhile, Swedish retail giant H&M took defense saying they have the rights to sell Bieber’s merchandise.
"Justin's license holder has confirmed that H&M had the right contracts in place and followed all proper approval procedures for each selected design," H&M said.
In response, the company pulled all items under the singer's line, “Out of respect for Justin, we removed the products from our site and stores, and we're working to find the best way to make use of them.”
