Fajardo now has twice the MVP awards won by PBA legends Ramon Fernandez and Alvin Patrimonio, who each has four of the said achievement.

However, Fajardo insists that more players deserve the 'GOAT' (Greatest of All Time) tag rather than him.

Fajardo mentioned that Fernandez won more PBA titles, a total of 19 championships, before he retired from professional basketball in 1994.

"Ako naka-ilan pa lang ako, 10 pa lang ako, sobrang layo ko pa sa kanya. Iyon yung, para sa akin, kapag maraming championships, doon ka matatawag na GOAT," Fajardo told reporters after the awarding ceremony on Sunday, August 18, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

"Sobrang dami na deserving na tawagin GOAT. Masaya na ako na mapabilang doon," he added.
