Coco Martin finally admitted his 12-year romantic relationship with Julia Montes on Tuesday, ending the longstanding speculations about them.
Martin unveiled their romantic status, saying that he feels great that even if they have been together for 12 years already, nothing has changed.
He added that they are looking forward to having projects together and will get the chance to go out, explaining that despite having people who see them together, they still maintain their private lives.
This indicates that the celebrity pair began dating in 2011, when Montes, now 28, was only 16 years old.
The 42-year-old actor also stated that he and Montes wished to keep their relationship quiet, stating that they value keeping their love out of the public eye.
Meanwhile, Montes said that they are thankful to the Lord for making their relationship go well, saying that she and Martin are blessed to have God at the center of their relationship.
While the couple did not reveal how their relationship began, they first worked together in the 2012 teleserye "Walang Hanggan" and then in the film "A Moment in Time" the following year.
