After four years of marriage, American singer Joe Jonas has reportedly filed for divorce from actress Sophie Turner.
In a report from TMZ, the 34-year-old 'Jonas Brothers' vocalist filed legal documents to officially end his marriage with the 27-year-old 'Game of Thrones' star. The petition stated that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken."
The document also mentioned that their two children, 3-year-old Willa and their 1-year-old, have been residing with Jonas in Miami and other locations throughout the country, indicating that the singer has been bringing them as their band tours.
"It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility," the document stated, which also indicated that the couple had a prenuptial agreement.
TMZ first reported that the couple was heading for divorce earlier this week.
Joe and Sophie tied the knot in May 2019 after a year of dating. They welcomed their first child, Willa, in July 2020 and their second child in July 2022.
