More than two years after announcing his retirement, Joe Devance will once again play in the PBA.

The PBA Commissioner's Office issued a memorandum on Tuesday, September 24, confirming that Brgy. Ginebra reactivated Devance, who won 12 titles in the league before he announced his retirement in 2022.

The 42-year old players takes the spot of Ginebra rookie Paul Garcia, who the team relegated to the unrestricted free agent with rights to salary list.

Devance makes his return Ginebra as the team prepares to face Meralco Bolts in the quarterfinals of the 2024 PBA Governors' Cup.
