JK Labajo got a surprise as he received a reply from the Danish pop band Lukas Graham, inviting him to join them at their Manila concert on October 22.
The Filipino singer-songwriter sent a comment on Lukas Graham’s TikTok video performing their song “Love Someone,” stating: “Heard you’re coming here! Can’t wait to watch the show!!”
“Hey JK! Why not come and perform this song with me instead?” the band replied.
When Labajo added that he was down for the invite, the Danish pop band said they should perform at the New Frontier Theater this Sunday.
Lukas Graham frontman Lukas Forchhammer yesterday, Oct. 18, stitched Labajo’s TikTok video performing his Global hit song “Ere” with the caption: “let’s perform this one together too? #ERE can’t wait!!!!”
“If you’re down to teach me some of this, we could sing this song when I get to Manila [...] I’ll see you soon, man. As I said, if you’re up for the challenge, let’s do this song too,” Forchhammer said in the stitched video.
Lukas Graham is a Danish pop band that is best known for their songs, “7 Years,” “Love Someone,” and “Mama Said.”
