As the song “Ere” keeps on reaching the heights of popularity, singer-songwriter Juan Karlos Labajo revealed that the reason behind the emotional track was inspired by his breakup with model-beauty queen Maureen Wroblewitz.

The song has already garnered much attention from Filipinos since its release, particularly the line “tatlong bilyon ikaw lang ang aking gusto,” a line that everyone who experienced a hurtful breakup can feel through the lyrics.

According to the "Senior High" actor, he made the song for his relationship, which ended, and said that the whole song was surprisingly dedicated to his breakup experience.

With such a relatable song to some, Labajo’s song “Ere” made its way as the first Filipino song to debut in the Spotify Global chart.
