BLINKs are off to a good start as it has been confirmed that Jisoo will be making a solo debut this year!
On Monday, YG Entertainment confirmed that the BLACKPINK member is currently preparing her solo album, which will be released soon.
“BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently working hard on recording her solo album," the statement read as translated by Korean media outlet Soompi.
"While carrying out a busy world tour schedule since last year, she finished the album jacket photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she got the time in order to keep the promise with fans. She will greet [fans] soon with good news," it added.
Jisoo's solo debut has been long awaited by her fans as she will be the last member to officially release a solo song following Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.
BLACKPINK is currently embarking on their biggest world tour entitled "Born Pink." They will be performing in the country on March 25 and 26 at the Philippine Arena.
