Jhanlo "The Machine" Sangiao suffered his first loss as he was defeated by Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu at ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian on August 5 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 21-year-old rising star started the second round by getting tagged with a brutal right elbow from the Mongolian bantamweight, and Baatarkhuu continued to methodically work with his right arm, eventually forcing the tap at the 2:53 mark.

Despite an impressive display of strikes from Sangiao early in the fight, Baatarkhuu proved to be relentless in his approach ashe continuously pursued stand-up exchanges and attempted to secure submissions by targeting Sangiao's right arm.

Eventually, he succeeded in securing the submission victory in the second round.

Baatarkhuu acknowledged Sangiao's ferocity and offered praise, stating, "I wish him the best. He's a promising young athlete."

With this loss, Sangiao's MMA record now stands at 6-1. However, he remains determined to learn from this setback and grow as a fighter.

Notably, Sangiao is the second member of Team Lakay to be defeated by Baatarkhuu.

He followed his stablemate Adonis Sevilleno who suffered a unanimous decision loss at ONE Fight Night 13 in April.
