Celebrity singer Jessie J has officially become a mother, announcing the joyful news to her fans through a heartfelt online post.
Taking to Instagram, Jessie shared a video of herself dancing in a hospital gown, proudly displaying her prominent baby bump.
Despite spending the past nine months preparing for a natural birth with strict dietary restrictions, employing techniques such as epi no, yoga, swimming, and hypnobirthing, Jessie revealed that she underwent a C-section to bring her bundle of joy into the world.
"Strict food, the epi no, yoga, swimming, hypnobirthing methods. I had a tens machine, a birthing comb, I wanted a pool birth ideally with no medication. BUT this was MY plan to stay disciplined and focused. I knew full well it could and would most likely go in a completely different direction," she expressed.

When asked about her birth plan, Jessie responded, "I am open to surrendering to the safest way for my baby boy to arrive."
Jessie further revealed that during a scan a few days shy of 40 weeks, her baby boy was in the wrong position and stuck.
Describing him as "a little chunkier and longer than average," she made several attempts over two months to reposition him.
"But he said 'Nah mum I wanna make an entrance out the roof, not the front door,'" she humorously added.
Following medical advice, Jessie underwent a planned C-section for a safe delivery.
The video she shared was recorded just five minutes before she was taken into surgery. She had gone into active labor the previous night and was filled with a mix of emotions, primarily excitement to finally meet her baby boy.
In her post, she addressed the question of whether she felt she missed out on the birth experience she had wanted.
"I had a birth and it was everything I wanted because I got him at the end of it, that’s all that matters," she concluded.
It's worth noting that Jessie had previously experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage.
Jessie J is currently in a relationship with Chanan Safir Colman, a basketball player, and she took to her Instagram story to share more empowering messages.
"I don't think I realised the impact my post would have on so many women who have felt ashamed or guilt from having a c section. Planned or emergency. If no one has told you I will. It is by no means the easy way out," she stressed.
"It is a birth. Politely f*** anyone who makes you feel anything different. You had a BELLY BIRTH. Whether it was choice or not you did or had to do what was right for your baby and for you to be healthy and arrive safely. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Hugging you all. We did it. We DID IT!!!," she added.
Jessie also expressed her gratitude to those who supported and showered her with love throughout her pregnancy journey. She stated that she now chooses to focus solely on the positive and supportive people in her life, disregarding any negativity.
Embracing her new life, body, and world, Jessie proclaimed that she would no longer apologize for her choices. She intends to enjoy every moment without being burdened by the opinions of others.
In her words, "I will be on the beach with my body on show, I've missed too many moments in life caring about what people will say or think. I will be parenting my way and owning it. I love it here. Not missing out on any joy because of some opinionated hater. Block button is now a love language to myself if your vibes feel off *YAWN*"
