South Korean actress Jeon So Min will depart from the popular variety program "Running Man", her agency confirmed on Monday, October 23.
In an official statement from King Kong by Starship, So Min will be filming her last appearance on the show on October 30.
According to the agency, So Min the Running Man members and the production team decided that she needs some time to recharge so she can impress even further through future activities.
King Kong expressed their gratitude towards the viewers who showed their all-out support to So Min for six years.
On the other hand, Running Man released a statement, showing their love and support for their members, as well as the members’ respect for So Min’s decision.
“Although Jun So Min ran together with “Running Man” for the past six years with exceptional affection and sense of responsibility, she recently conveyed her intention that she needs the time to recharge for her acting activities,” the popular variety program stated.
“We express our gratitude to Jun So Min, who made the program shine brighter as a member of “Running Man” for a long time,” it said.
In 2017, So Min joined the cast of "Running Man" alongside Yang Se Chan.
Following her departure on October 30, the cast of Running Man will consist of Yoo Jae Suk. Ji Suk Jin, HaHa, Kim Jong Kook, Song Ji Hyo, and Yang Se Chan are moving forward.
