A TikTok video showing a passenger’s unusually high-end experience inside a jeepney has gone viral online, drawing millions of views and reactions from amused netizens, DZRH TV's Rhovic Manuel reported.

In the now-trending post, TikTok user Abby Reyes shared a clip of the “luxury-like” jeepney she rode, which features several modern amenities rarely seen in traditional public transport.

@aabbyreyes I-KMJS NA YAN!!

The video shows the jeepney equipped with free Wi-Fi, allowing passengers to stay connected while stuck in traffic. Despite its open windows, the ride also feels cooler thanks to electric fans installed inside the vehicle, providing extra comfort for commuters.

The jeepney also offers multiple cashless payment options, including GCash, Maya, and ShopeePay, aside from traditional cash payments.

For added security, the vehicle is fitted with CCTV cameras, discouraging fare evasion or the common “1-2-3” tactic where passengers leave without paying. Cleanliness is also emphasized, as passengers are provided free alcohol upon boarding.

Reyes jokingly described the ride as a “Jeepney Pro Max” experience, a phrase that quickly caught the attention of viewers online.

As of writing, the video has already reached more than 5.5 million views and over 700,000 reactions on TikTok. Many commenters praised the driver’s effort to upgrade the commuting experience, while others joked that the driver might simply be running the jeepney as a hobby because he appears “already successful in life.”

The viral clip has sparked conversations online about how innovation and improved passenger amenities could help modernize the Philippines’ iconic jeepneys while keeping them relevant for today’s commuters.
