On May 11, 2023, Jason first shared a sweet photo with the mystery girl, seemingly taken in a desert. The woman was wearing a hat and a black sleeveless top, while they stood close together with smiles on their faces.
Then, on May 19, 2023, Jason posted a short video on his Instagram Story once again featuring the enigmatic lady.
In the clip, they appeared to be engaged in conversation while facing away from the camera, overlooking the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California.
He continued to post with the same woman on May 22, 2023. This time, the woman's full body was visible, but her face remained hidden as she stood with her back to the camera.
Both Jason and the woman gazed at the breathtaking sunset from the stunning view of Horseshoe Bend Canyon in Page, Arizona.
On May 25, 2023, Jason surprised his fans by releasing a music video for his song "Ikaw Pa Rin."
Some eagle-eyed netizens then realized that the mystery girl in his Instagram posts was actually an aspiring actress. It was also revealed that Jason is still single following his controversial separation from Moira.
Despite the speculation surrounding his Instagram posts, Jason clarified that there is no new romantic relationship in his life.
"Hi, for some people, this has been clarified already but I want it to also come from me: the girl in the music video is not my girlfriend. Her name is Sumaya McEvoy, a friend from El Nido who was game enough to shoot the vid," the singer-songwriter wrote.
