RADWIMPS, the Japanese rock band behind the soundtracks of three popular anime, is coming to the Philippines for their Asia tour concert!

The rock band unveiled the main poster of their "The way you yawn, and the outcry of Peace" Asia tour concert on a Facebook post on Friday, January 26.

“RADWIMPS WORLD TOUR 2024 "The way you yawn, and the outcry of Peace" [Asia] is confirmed. We plan to add more dates so stay tuned,” RADWIMPS captioned.

For their Philippines stop, the rock band will perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on May 1. The gates will open at 6 PM and the main concert starts at 8 PM.

The ticket prices and the seat plan were also dropped.

Tickets range from P2,500 to P6,000, and these can be purchased via Ticketnet outlets nationwide or through www.ticket.net.com.ph starting 12 noon on March 2.

RADWIMPS will kick off their "The way you yawn, and the outcry of Peace" Asia tour concert in Tokyo, Japan, and they will stop in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, and Seoul.

Debuted in 2003 with “Radwimps” album, the rock band is composed of lead vocalist Yojiro Noda, guitarist Akira Kuwahara, bass guitarist Yusuke Takeda, and drums Satoshi Yamaguchi.

RADWIMPS is popular for their soundtrack album for “Kimi no Na wa” or “Your Name” (2016), which is considered one of the highest-grossing anime films in Japan. They are also behind the music of “Weathering with You” (2019) and “Suzume” (2022).

Apart from their anime soundtracks, RADWIMPS is popular for their songs “Kimi to Hitsuji to Ao”, “Sokkenai”, “05410”, and more.
