Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida safe from bomb incident in Wakayama — report

A report from Japanese broadcaster NHK said that Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was unhurt from the suspected smoke bomb incident.
Last Saturday, the suspect threw ‘what appeared to be a smoke bomb’ before Kishida gives his speech in Wakayama.
The Japanese Prime Minister left the city unharmed and safe, according to NHK.
Previously, Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated during his campaign for a national election.
