Amid the rumored split between Kyline Alcantara and Kobe Paras, celebrity mom Jackie Forster set the record straight on the cheating allegations that blew up against her son.
In a video uploaded on her social media pages on Sunday evening, Jackie detailed the events that led to Kobe and Kyline’s breakup. She said they initially wanted to keep quiet on the matter, but felt that keeping mum about the details allowed for more accusations, bashing, assumptions, and stalking.
“My life is quiet. I live away from all of this, and I hardly post anymore. So take that into consideration before any of you claim that I am doing this for any other reason than to stand up for my son,” she clarified.
Moreover, Jackie said that Andre is also getting bashed for standing up for his brother, and does not deserve the hate he’s receiving. According to Jackie, the issue blew up some time after the ex-couple’s trip to the United States in January. She pointed out that some of the things said and done were a “red flag,” and for the next few months, some of Kobe’s interactions with Kyline and her parents were unpleasant.
And like any other relationship, she said that Kobe tried to get past it.
When the latter moved out, Jackie said a handful of them took calls from Kyline to console her for hours. Out of respect, they tried to be there for her and be understanding of the actress’ side.
“Right now, I’m confused as to why Kyline and the people on her side are allowing Kobe to look like he is a cheater, and she just wants to keep quiet to protect her own peace. Somehow, she is getting praised for having the courage to leave my son, who, according to her parents, are masama,” she said.
She proceeded to tell that the day before Easter, Kyline was begging them to convince Kobe to return home and apologize to her so that they could still fix things. Jackie and Kyline had multiple long talks, citing that they agreed not to do anything irrational like deleting photos and unfollowing each other on social media, to prevent things from escalating.
They agreed to wait for Kobe’s call to see if things were still salvageable. However, Jackie pointed out that Kyline went on to do the opposite of what they agreed on and even posted a video of her singing a sentimental song–which added fuel to the flame.
Keeping their silence
Following this, noise around the ex-couple’s breakup prompted some people to stalk Kobe while abroad. Jackie also mentioned that she and her family are also abused online. But despite it all, Jackie said they kept quiet.
At the time, people were reposting, stalking and having their own assumptions on what really happened. Kobe’s brother, Andre Paras, decided to step in and defend his brother. However, Jackie said that it was at that point when Kyline’s demeanor began to change.
“She became condescending, bastos, and makes a promise to do what she needs to to save her career. Then she posts a cryptic message and again, her parents posts one too,” she said.
That’s when Jackie said she had to believe what she was seeing and stop denying.
“It really showed that Kyline will do what Kyline wants to do, to get what Kyline wants. So I posted a quote of my own. Suddenly, I get a message from someone from Sparkle Talent. Basically trying to make me feel bad for my post, and excusing what she (Kyline) and her parents were doing,” Jackie highlighted.
“Ceasefire daw. Ceasefire. I didn’t know we were at war. Why would Kyline’s team allow for all the insinuations and suggestive posts from their side at this crucial time, and knowing that Kobe is not the type to respond?” she added.
The Supposed Layers of Toxicity
Among the things that Kyline did, Jackie stressed the conflict over Kobe moving out, borrowing Kyline’s car, and wanting to make things work. She said that most of the things she knew at the time were shared by Kyline.
Of all the things that happened, Jackie said that Kobe might’ve felt trapped. By the latter was already distant, Jackie claimed that Kyline physically assaulted Kobe. She then questioned why Kyline had to put Kobe in that position, adding that the latter decided to pack up and leave instead of responding to it.
“To Kyline, her family, the toxic fans: please don’t insult the efforts that we have made to build our family by playing victim. If you’re a victim, you’re the victim of your own doing. Your actions have consequences. For someone who is supposed to be a mental health advocate, it bothers me to know that you have been playing with Kobe’s mental health throughout your relationship,” Jackie stressed.
When Kobe finally called her, she said that the gaps were filled and that it made her so disappointed in herself. She recalled how in July last year, she was warned about the situation, but decided to defend Kyline instead.
“I thought, if there was a woman, a mother, that could understand, and be most accepting, it would be me. I regret not listening to those warnings,” she stated.
“Now I hope everyone who has the heart to truly comprehend the gravity of the deception of your ways, now sees the real you,” she ended her statement.
