Netflix on Tuesday, January 30, revealed that South Korean stars IU and Park Bo-gum are set to star in a new series “When Life Gives You Tangerine.”
The series will be helmed by “My Mister” director Kim Won-suk, making it the second K-drama he will share with IU.

According to Netflix, “When Life Gives You Tangerine” follows the adventure-filled lives of Ae-soon, a rebel born and raised in Jeju Island, and Gwan-sik, a young man dubbed “unyielding iron.”
IU recently released her single “Love Wins All” in collaboration with BTS’ V. Aside from her songs, she is best known for her dramas “Hotel del Luna,” “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” and “Dream High.”
Park Bo-gum is set to come back with the upcoming series after serving in the military. He is best known for his roles in “Record of Youth,” “Reply 1988,” and “Love in the Moonlight.”
