MANILA, Philippines – The government of Israel is ready to shoulder all hospitalization fees and give medical assistance to Filipinos injured in the Iranian missile attacks, Israel Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss said.

In a media interview, Fluss reiterated Israel’s commitment to all persons, whether they be Israel nationals or foreigners, who are still in the country of assistance amidst the conflict between Israel and Iran.

“All of them are getting the full medical support and treatment in hospital like any other Israeli. Secondly, all of them are in Israel and will get the support and compensation of whatever mechanisms we have,” Fluss stated.

Based on data provided by the Philippine Embassy in Israel, seven Filipinos were reported injured, with one in critical condition.

In an update, the Philippine Embassy said the critically injured Filipino caregiver needs major surgery and is receiving medical care at the ICU of Shamir Medical Center, one of the most advanced hospitals in Israel.

Another Filipino is confined at the Kaplan Medical Center with moderate-to-serious injuries, while five others have already been discharged after receiving medical attention for minor injuries.

In the same update, the Philippine Embassy reported 49 Filipinos lost their homes due to Iranian air raids, while 26 expressed their willingness to go home. This is out of the 150 requests for repatriation received by the Embassy, with the number now reaching 1,333 Filipinos repatriated from Israel starting October 7, 2023 to June 12, 2025.
