This came after the United Nations (UN) General Assembly urged for an “immediate humanitarian truce” in Gaza, a resolution the Philippines decided to abstain from.
In a BBC report, over 8,300 people in the Gaza Strip have been killed since Israel's bombardment started, according to a health ministry in Gaza.
A New York Times report said that Israel has cut off electricity, fuel, and most food and water supplies to Gaza, and its airstrikes have killed over 3,000 children as stated by the Gazan health ministry.
