Chloe Isleta won the gold medal in the women's aquatic swimming 200 backstroke event of the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Isoleta clocked in two minutes and 18.60 seconds on Monday, May 16, to win the first gold medal for the Philippine national swimming team in the biennial multisports event.

Indonesian swimmer Nurul Fajar Fitriyati finished in second place in the tournament held at the My Dinh Water Sports Palace with a time of two minutes and 19.79 seconds while Mia Millar clocked in two minutes and 19.90 seconds to secure a bronze medal finish.

During the 2019 edition of the SEA Games held in the Philippines, Isoleta won the bronze medal in the women's aquatic swimming 200 backstroke event
